Mack Brooks Exhibitions announces to hold a new trade exhibition, geared towards the Northern European sheet metal working industry. The first BLECH Nordic, Exhibition for Sheet Metal Working, will be held from 4 - 7 October 2011, at Stockholmsmässan, in Stockholm, Sweden.

BLECH Nordic is part of BLECHevents, a series of dedicated sheet metal working exhibitions for important regional markets, organised by Mack Brooks Exhibitions every other year. Besides BLECH Nordic, two further events will take place in Russia and in India next year. Both of these exhibitions – BLECH Russia and BLECH India - have already been held before, with good results.

The Nordic countries – an expert market

“In an expert market with an increased awareness for environmentally sustainable and energy efficient production processes, there is huge potential for cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions,” says Susanne Rauberger, Exhibition Director BLECH Nordic on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions. “Our dedicated trade exhibition BLECH Nordic now offers manufacturers and suppliers of machines, tools, materials and services for sheet metal working an ideal platform to meet high profile trade visitors in Northern Europe,” explains Susanne Rauberger.

The Nordic countries are generally regarded as a highly stable economic region with excellent infrastructure and state-of-the-art logistics centres. Metal production is a traditional industry there and several major manufacturers of sheet metal working machinery are based in this region. The most important customers of machine tools for sheet metal working are the ship-building and offshore industries, construction, civil engineering and the automotive industry.

Stockholm – meeting point for the manufacturing industry

BLECH Nordic 2011 will take place alongside the Scandinavian Technical Fair, the renowned trade exhibition for the Scandinavian manufacturing industry, featuring some 300 exhibitors and some 25,000 trade visitors. With first class international travel links, the Stockholm International Fairs & Congress Center exhibition grounds are ideally situated in the southwest area of Stockholm and within a short drive from the city centre.

Like the other two BLECHevents, BLECH Nordic covers all sectors of the sheet metal manufacturing process, including sheet metal supply; tubes and sections; metal-forming and bending solutions; stamping; pressing; automation; flexible manufacturing systems; cutting; punching; joining/welding; tooling; laser technology; CAD/CAM; finishing/coating; quality assurance and material handling.

Always up-to-date

An exhibitor brochure for companies interested in exhibiting at BLECH Nordic 2011 has just been published and can be ordered from the organisers. Extensive up-to-date information on BLECH Nordic will soon be available at www.blechnordic.com.
